Acorn Children's Hospice
Acorn Children's Hospice is our partner charity in Birmingham. The charity was set up in 1984 by Peter Wildblood and after a successful spell of fundraising, Selly Oak Hospice was built in 1988 to provide support for families with a severely life-limited child at any one time between the ages of 0-18. It costs £9.3 million a year to run their care services providing care for the child and support for families. Acorns relies heavily on the community to fund the majority of its activities.
